Each floor of West 8E Bldg. is locked for security. When visiting, please use the door phone in front of the elevator hall on the 9th floor and call Hayashi at the extension number shown beside the door phone.

Prospective Students

I welcome motivated students and researchers who want to work on software engineering.

Master's and doctoral programs

Applicants from outside Japan should apply through the International Graduate Program C (IGP-C), which is intended for overseas applicants to both the master's and doctoral programs. Those already in Japan can instead take the regular entrance examination of the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing. I expect applicants to the doctoral program to already have research experience in software engineering and/or computer science; if you do not, please consider applying for the master's program first.

Research students

Owing to limited space, we do not accept research students.
